A Vision for a New American Statesmanship
(A personal proposal)
The United States is at a turning point. We’re not just facing economic instability or division — we’re facing something deeper: a collapse in trust. Trust in our leaders, our institutions, and even in each other. I believe the way forward doesn’t come from more politics — it comes from rebuilding character in public service.
That’s why I’ve been developing the idea of a Constitutional Leadership Academy — not just a school, but a calling. A place to train a new kind of American leader: someone grounded in the Constitution, guided by wisdom and empathy, and committed to putting the people above themselves — always.
This isn’t about Left or Right. It isn’t religious, though people of faith are welcome. This is about principle. It’s about preparing the next generation to serve with strength, humility, and a clear moral compass.
The curriculum I envision would include:
• Constitutional Law & Founding History
A deep and unflinching study of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution — understood as written and intended at the time. This isn’t about reinterpretation. It’s about preservation.
• Political Science & Statesmanship
Understanding the structure of government — how it’s designed to work, how it’s been broken, and how to restore it with discipline and duty.
• Economics & Business
Real-world training in markets, trade, and fiscal responsibility — because no leader can govern wisely without understanding the forces that shape our economy.
• Sociology, Psychology & Empathy
Because we must understand the full American experience — including those who’ve suffered. If your dad was in prison, your mom on drugs, and you never had enough to eat — that shapes you. We need leaders who get that and don’t just talk about statistics from a distance.
• Public Communication & Media Literacy
To speak clearly, cut through manipulation, and communicate directly with the people — truthfully and without spin.
But the most important part of all? The standard.
This would be a highly selective program. Only those with proven ethics, humility, and discipline would be accepted. We’re talking about building an institution so honorable that its graduates carry the weight of an oath they live by:
“I will always put the Constitution and the people above myself. I will do what is right — not what is right for me. I will never use power for personal gain. I will lead with truth, serve with humility, and defend liberty with honor. This is not a job — it is a duty.”
That’s what I believe in. That’s what I live by. And I don’t want this academy for people like me — I want it for the ones better than me. The younger ones, the ones with fire in their heart and truth in their voice. We need to give them a way forward — one that’s not a political ladder, but a moral foundation.
This is just my idea — something that’s been on my heart. But I believe it could help save this country by creating the kind of leaders we’ve been waiting
it’s almost amazing how people run from me how people turn from me and on me a few people have seen me for a little bit like on here some of you specifically Mark he gave me money couple times others of you too. I don’t want money but like I have the best nonprofit that I need help with and it’s a pretty great investment I think.
I’m posting this for my dad. For a while this place felt like a safe haven for him, but his brain injury also made it overwhelming. He’s always worn shirts – MAGA, “I Support Elon,” “I Identify as Vaccinated” – anything just to start conversations. That’s really what he wants, to talk to people and feel like he can help.
He feels the pain of people like him: brain injury survivors, disabled, homeless, mentally ill, addicted. Most of the time it’s just been him in a trailer or hotel room. When he called people and used awful words, it wasn’t to hurt them—it was trying to get them to see the pain their actions cause to the most vulnerable, not just him. He just wanted them to stop.
He’s never threatened anyone. But they’ve moved his case from OC to LA to SF, digging through his phone, and now his health is collapsing. We’re scared. We’re trying to get his Hope After Stroke dream going, but right now he needs a safe place to live and legal help from someone who ...
